Yes, I have made a preliminary squad already, I'll post it around the end of the season. Although they certainly already had great players before, so don't expect 3/4 of the AS team to be current players..

Yes, of course the team can't have many current players based on one good season.
I also checked a bit of stuff and the team had many representative players pre- and post-war.

From their recent seasons I'd only expect Dunk, Murray and Groß to be in the first team. Apart from them, I don't think anyone has been there long enough, and I doubt they will stay long enough either. Maybe Solly March if he continues this season's form.

It would be good to have Bournemouth too BTW.

Am I blind or we don't have a 90s and 00s World All Stars on the forum yet? I didn't find them.

I'll take care of the 90s team. If anyone wants to collaborate on that, PM me.

What would be the criteria? Straight off "impact" to World Football or "Inclusion"? I do not think that, for the 2000s team, any player outside CONMEBOL, with the exception African forwards such as Eto'o and Drogba had any higher impact than the CONMEBOL players.

Or:

Did we have goalkeepers who reached a higher peak than Dida or Julio César?
Or defenders such as: Cafú, J.Zanetti, R.Carlos, Lúcio, Samuel, Ayala, Yepes, Córdoba, Sorín (Maybe Montero and Márquez).
Or midfielders such as: Emerson, G.Silva, Kaká, Zé Roberto, Riquelme, Juninho, Aimar, Cambiasso, (Mascherano?), David Pizarro?, ¿¿ESSIEN??
Or forwards such as: Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Drogba, Eto'o, Forlán, Tévez, Crespo, etc...

that's right off my mind, and it's also assuming this "world" team should be based without taking UEFA into consideration, as we have several "Europe"-decade AS teams around.

Yes I think he means "All-stars" which removes the need to include CAF or AFC players when they may not be needed.

I think all of the All-star teams could do with updating as there are some players who IMO should be included in them and they look generally out-of-date compared to the newer topics on here

I would personally include some players in more than one decade (such as Maldini for 1990's and potentially 2000's as well) but it seems to be a rule that only 1 player per decade is in place which is also fine.

Lastly we could start a 2020's All-stars than can be updated year-by-year?

Well, if a player should be restricted to 1 decade (IMO while it's harsh yo guys like Maldini, Messi, Baresi, Javier Zanetti or Matthäus, I can understand that this should spread more players around) so far the 2020s I can only think of Courtois

If a player can only be in one decade team, then I guess he should be on the one he reached his peak.
