Attack/Defence Awareness Card: BalancedINFO:Salman Al-Faraj is a Saudi midfielder who so far spent his entire career at Al-Hilal, he's captained both club and country and been one of the most prominent players in Saudi Arabia in the last 10 years. He's a versatile midfielder that's capable of playing in a variety of roles, with Al-Hilal he's usually a central midfielder that plays in deeper positions but with Saudi Arabia he usually plays further forward due to a lack of playmakers in the national team. His main strengths are his tactical awareness and great long passes, not just cross-field passes but also dangerous crosses. He rarely uses his right foot and he's not very quick but with his solid technique he's rarely caught on the ball. He's not much of a goalscorer but he can make vertical runs to link up with his teammates in dangerous positions. With his intelligent play and organisational skills, he's been a natural choice as a captain throughout his career. He captained Al-Hilal to win the 2019 and 2021 Asian Champions League titles, and captained his country at the 2022 World Cup, although he picked up an injury in the first game and missed the rest of the tournament. He's probably the best Saudi midfielder since the retirement of Mohammed Noor and one of their best in the 21st century so far.
