What we do
Ogni scheda parte da un giocatore vero e prova a tradurne il talento in numeri: attacco, tecnica, velocità, tiro, colpo di testa. Discutiamo ogni valore, lo confrontiamo con le partite e con chi quel calciatore lo ha visto giocare, e solo allora entra nell'archivio.
Every profile starts from a real player and tries to turn their talent into numbers: attack, technique, pace, shooting, heading. We debate each value, weigh it against the matches and against people who saw them play, and only then does it enter the archive.
Lo schema è lo stesso dal primo giorno: nome, nazionale, club, ruolo e piede, poi le voci di Pro Evolution Soccer una per una, dall'attacco alla resistenza agli infortuni, con le card e le abilità speciali. Le fasce di giudizio sono condivise: sopra 80 è un titolare di livello, sopra 90 un fuoriclasse, sopra 95 un mito. Chi propone una scheda spiega le sue scelte con parole proprie e risponde a chi non è d'accordo.
The template has been the same since day one: name, country, clubs, position and foot, then the Pro Evolution Soccer attributes one by one, from Attack to Injury Tolerance, plus cards and special abilities. The grading bands are shared: 80 and above is a top starter, 90 and above a star, 95 and above a legend. Whoever proposes a profile explains their choices in their own words and answers those who disagree.

E una scheda nasce quasi sempre nella sezione personale di un curatore, dove viene discussa prima di entrare nell'archivio del suo decennio.
The official sets Konami published in its games for classic players are gathered separately and serve as a reference. A conversion guide explains how to carry any profile from one PES version to the next. And a profile is almost always born in a curator's personal section, where it is debated before entering the archive of its decade.

A century, decade by decade
L'archivio è ordinato per epoca. Sotto ogni decennio, quante schede giocatore contiene oggi. Gli anni Settanta, Ottanta e Novanta sono il cuore della collezione.
The archive is ordered by era. Under each decade, how many player profiles it holds today. The Seventies, Eighties and Nineties are the heart of the collection.

Who is behind it
Nessuna azienda e nessuna redazione: chi scrive le schede è chi le usa. In quattordici stagioni hanno firmato almeno un messaggio quasi 400 membri, da paesi diversi, con l'inglese come lingua comune e molti italiani fra i fondatori e i curatori. La gestione è affidata a un piccolo gruppo di amministratori e moderatori volontari, che approvano le iscrizioni a mano e tengono in ordine l'archivio.
No company and no editorial staff: the people who write the profiles are the people who use them. Over fourteen seasons almost 400 members have signed at least one post, from many countries, with English as the common language and many Italians among the founders and curators. A small group of volunteer administrators and moderators runs the board, approving sign ups by hand and keeping the archive in order.

Un giocatore che ha attraversato più fasi ha più schede, una per periodo, come Romário al Barcellona e Romário al Flamengo.
The description of a player in a specific era, translated into the Pro Evolution Soccer attributes: personal data, position, foot, then every attribute with its value, the cards, the special abilities. A player who went through several phases has several profiles, one per period, like Romário at Barcelona and Romário at Flamengo.

Profiles are the work of those who wrote and debated them, and the rules ask that they are not copied to other forums. A link to the original profile, on the other hand, is always welcome.
