INFO:
Brazil was a striker mostly remembered for his time at Ipswich Town, where he started his career in 1976. He stayed here until 1983 (plus a spell at Detroit express on loan in 1978) playing 175 matches and scoring 71 goals. He also capped 13 times and scored 1 goal for Scotland while playing for Ipswich Town. After leaving the team he had spells at Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Coventry City, Queens Park Rangers and some minor teams also outside the UK before retiring only in 1990 due to a back injury. Brazil has been a key player for Ipswich Town, a prolific scorer with good movements, speed especially with the ball at his feet, fantastic ball control and dribbling ability but he was also a very good passer and was incredibly able with both feet; he used to play also as a winger, switching side during the match. One of his finest matches came on 16 February 1982, when he scored all the goals in a 5-2 win against Southampton. Brazil won the 1977-78 FA Cup as well as the 1984-85 edition with Manchester United and the 1980-81 UEFA Cup with Ipswich Town as well as the 1983-84 edition with Tottenham Hotspur. He also participated with the Scotland at the 1982 FIFA World cup.
