Bror Lars Astley Mellberg (9 December 1923 − 8 September 2004) was a Swedish footballer who played as a forward. He was inside forward and centre forward with good technique and playmaking abilities. Bror had great sense for a goal and was dangerous in aerial battles. But he was slow player and in frantic football with agressive play didn't look good. When he didn't have good day, he wasn't too much useful for his teams. Bror Mellberg came from the small town Ambjörby in northern Värmland, but he became one of AIK's greatest player of all time.
