INFO:Bedin is a former defensive midfielder. He spent the majority of his career at Inter, making 310 appearances from 1964 to 1974, scoring 23 goals. He played also for Sampdoria, Varese, Livorno and Rondinella, retiring in 1981. He was called up for Italy 6 times.
Originally a striker, Bedin was moved by Helenio Herrera to the defensive midfielder position to replace Carlo Tagnin. Bedin proved to possess great defensive prowess and to be a valid man marker. His task was, in fact, marking the playmaker, who usually was the most dangerous player of the opposing team. He did his work very well, running constantly, showing good vision and fairness. He wasn't a rough tackler and the only time he was sent off, it was due to protests against the referee. Bedin had fun in his position, running, marking, taking the ball of the opponents, feeling satisfied but not sacrificed. Despite his defensive mind, he sometimes left his position to push forward and score with headers or tap-ins.
