INFO:Amer Shafi, is a legendary Jordanian goalkeeper and one of the most prominent goalkeepers in the history of Arab football. He began his career as a midfielder before excelling in goalkeeping, representing the Jordanian national team, in a record-breaking 171 international matches. He shone with Jordan during the Asian Cup, scoring a famous goal from his goal against India. Despite his weight, he possessed good agility and jumping ability, along with superb positioning and reflexes. He played for the two Jordanian football giants, Al-Wehdat and Al-Faisaly, and also had professional stints in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. After announcing his retirement in 2021, he turned to coaching, using his extensive experience to develop the skills of up-and-coming goalkeepers.
