INFO:
Kazadi was a goalkeeper. He spent his entire career at Mazembe in his native Democratic Republic of the Congo. He won several domestic and continental competitions, including back-to-back Champions League titles in 1967 and 1968. He was also successful with the Zaire national team as he won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1968 and 1974, and participated at the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He represented DR Congo 40 times between 1968 and 1980.
Considered the best goalkeeper in DR Congo's history (mainly due to the success he had with the national team), Kazadi wasn't free of flaws, something that he proved at the World Cup. Kazadi possessed great agility, was efficient when coming off the goal to stop an opponent by using either hands or feet, usually had no trouble at catching shots that weren't too threatening, and had a powerful goal kick. However, he often showed visible lacks of reaction and mentality against shots, even close range ones, that he could've at least tried to stop. It's important to underline, though, that he had quite a short size for a goalkeeper and even a decent jump was often not enough for him to reach the ball. His other flaw concerned his ball distribution as he did have a powerful and fast goal kick but his long balls rarely reached the half of the field and often ended on one of his opponent's feet.
