Saad Al-Mukhaini is regarded as one of the most prominent defenders in the history of Omani football. He began his career with Al-Orouba Club before moving between several local clubs and later undertaking a professional stint abroad with Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia. He represented the Oman national team in more than 100 international matches and was a key figure in Oman’s triumph at the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup. He plays primarily as a right-back, with the ability to cover more than one defensive position when needed. He is known for a playing style based on tactical discipline, strong reading of attacking moves, and solid defensive coverage. He has also been recognized for his consistency, extensive experience, and leadership role in the defensive line.
