INFO : Telê Santana was a Brazilian soccer player known for his skill and tactical intelligence, playing primarily as a right winger and center forward. He excelled at Fluminense, where he played for over a decade, and also had stints at Madureira and Vasco da Gama. Although a respected player, he is best remembered for his coaching career. Telê began his career at Fluminense, where he became an idol, appearing in 558 matches and scoring 163 goals. He participated in the Rio de Janeiro state championships of 1951 and 1959, the Rio Internacional Cup of 1952, and two Rio-São Paulo tournaments (1957 and 1960). He was a slight player, but possessed great skill and tactical intelligence, and was known as the "Thread of Hope." He also played innovative tactical roles for the time, such as false winger. He was a reserve for the Brazilian national team throughout his career due to the abundance of quality players at the time(Julinho Botelho and Garrincha), appearing in only a few matches.

Grand Master Telê Santana, may God have him on heaven.

You could shorten the time frame for him, maybe 53-57, no player keep the same stats and characteristics for 8 years long. And you could decrease BAL to 77 to 73/72 or even high 60s, as he was very thin and lightweight, not a player that had that much strength in physical encounters.

I also think his shooting accuracy needs to drop to at least 84 to 81. He wasn't very consistent. I quote this part of your description: "playing 558 games and scoring 163 goals." We could reduce his consistency and fitness to 5, although we could leave it at 6 for fitness if you want. But he doesn't look like a player in top form either. He's more of a "producing forward" than a finisher. His passing level needs to be raised a bit. His attacking and aggression scores should be reduced by one point each, and he'd be fine. I don't know if his mentality should be reduced. His nickname should be taken into account:

Quote:

Here's some information about this player that I managed to get because I was making my own Perácio and Patesko sets. Information about him came up on the blog by chance:

Spoiler: show
Quote:

As you can see, it should have a little more speed 84 or 85 with that also increasing its acceleration one or two points.

Quote:

His finishing technique is good, I don't know if he should increase his one-on-one scoring ability, but for that, his attack should be reduced to prevent him from becoming a prolific scorer.

Quote:

As you can see, he was a productive player, his SPA is fine in my opinion, but LPA should not be increased by one or two points more at least,

Quote:

Apparently he could also take balls away, although he should not be compared to Garrincha (a beast of dribbling), I think his dribbling level should be acceptable, an 83 in DA would be enough, the same for his DS, at least in green values, so that the player does not become so heavy when dribbling,

Quote:

There you have Santana's first nickname.

Quote:
Em 1952, o tricolor carioca tinha a seguinte formação; Castilho, Píndaro, Pinheiro, Jair Santana e Bigode; Edson e Robson; Tele Santana, Villalobos, Marinho e Quincas.

Finally, here is some information about his weight, I don't know if it is true, but if you got the information about his weight from Wikipedia, there may be a dispute with that information, especially if you manage to get information from other pages that corroborate that this is his true weight then it is correct, the same thing happened to me when I did Vladimir Hagara's statistics I thought he was 175cm tall but in a photo it appears that he is taller than Kuna and Viktor who are at least 180cm tall...

I forgot a detail, there is a part where it says that he fought tirelessly for every ball, possibly his resistance could have a yellow value of 80, not only for that but for his tactical role.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did a lot of research about his weight, even looking in the 'Jornal dos Sports', but I couldn't find anything, so I stuck with what was on Wikipedia. I think maybe the information about his weight being 57 kilos was when he was leaving the youth teams, and I don't think he maintained the same weight in subsequent years; perhaps he gained a few extra kilos out of necessity. Even so, thanks for the information.

On ogol.com it says 61kg, not really a big difference from 57-59kg. Still very light for his height.
