INFO:Abdel-Nadif is a former central or attacking midfielder. He spent his entire career at Al-Merrikh, playing there from 1964 to 1978. A member of Sudan national team from 1967 to 1976, he capped at least 10 times, scored not less than 2 goals, and was a member of the successful team that won the 1970 African Cup of Nations where he was a starter in the semi-final and final.
Arguably one of the best midfielders in Sudan's history, Abdel-Nadif was one of the main reasons behind Al-Merrikh's success during the 1970s. He was a midfield genius, distinguished for his scoring ability, leadership, charisma, strength and daring style of play. He could play the ball with skill and make solo efforts towards the goal thanks to his limitless creativity. He used to make some steps with the ball before raising his head and looking if he had space to shoot or if he had to turn around and distribute the ball. He could move well with the ball and at the same time give instructions to his teammates.
