INFO:Adnan is a centre back, occasionally deployed as defensive midfielder or right back. His career began in 2003 at Malkiya. He transferred to Qatar in 2005, playing for Al-Khor until 2011. After short experiences in Australia with Brisbane Roar, Kuwait and again Qatar with the Al-Arabi team of each country, he came back to Bahrain, signing for Al-Hidd in 2014. Currently still playing for Al-Hidd, he though played for Manama Club in 2016-17 and Qatar team Al-Ahli Doha the following year. He capped for Bahrain 105 times, scoring 11 goals.
One of the most important players in Bahrain's history, Adnan has been for years the rock of the national team's defensive line. Tall, strong, not fast but technically skilled, not only he's a good defender but he also has an eye for the offense. He's gifted with positional sense, reaction and fine tackling. His height and good heading allow him to be a threat in the opposition's area, but he's also capable of scoring remarkable goals with bicycle kicks or from awkward positions. He's proved to be a good passer, able in sending fast and usually accurate pinpoint crosses from the back with his right foot. In his prime, he was regarded as the second best free kick taker in Bahrain behind Mahmoud Abdulrahman, and he was also a penalty specialist. Adnan could deliver excellent free kicks with either the inside or outside of the foot, placing a curled ball or shooting with great power from long range.
