Best Greek players over the first two decades of 21st century (2000-2020) according to
Rabona. Great selection process and criteria, alongside information for every player as well as explanation. Unbiased point of view taking into account not only national team achievements, but also the value/talent, so it serves forum's principles. When it comes down to the best of the new generation/century, this is the pool to pick from.

Made some suggestions at earlier post. Here's a bit more. Nikopolidis definitely first team and a possible starter. The other two won't make it. 00s CBs could all claim a spot. From 10s CBs Sokratis probably qualifies, K. Manolas stands by (looks like a Georgatos case), Avraam stands unlucky. Seitaridis and Torosidis are clear, Vintra sidelined. Fissas and possibly Georgatos in. Holebas, one of my favorites, sad to see he may be left out. Katsouranis beats Zikos and Tziolis. Zagorakis and Basinas of course qualify. Stoltidis great player, but not even 10 caps to claim. Karagounis and Tsiartas first team without doubt. Fortounis interesting case, but unlucky to be part of a tough and failed era. Giannakopoulos and Salpingidis ahead of Lakis. Samaras knocks the other two out. Finally I may include all CFs, Charisteas first team, Gekas/Demis/Libe contributed much, only Mitroglou could be discussed further.
