De Filippis was never a central midfielder. Why did you set him in that position despite central midfielders didn't even really exist back then? And where is the centre forward?
I don't know where you got this formation from but Ballarin and Scapin were defenders, Salar, Rancilio and Radio half backs, De Filippis and Grezar inside forwards, Pasinati and Tagliasacchi wingers, Tosolini the centre forward.

I found this formation in an old copy of "Calcio 2000" in a column that talked about various tactics.

The situation here looks similar to Salernitana. As you can see, Ballarin was probably a hypothetical centre forward much like Piccinini at Salernitana. The book sets him as n°9 but the formation from Wikipedia adds an arrow towards De Filippis. It's possible that whilst Ballarin didn't act as forward (he was a defender after all), De Filippis instead moved forward compared to the starting line-up. Then you have Radio as left back, Salar as right back, Scapin as sweeper and Rancilio as wing half whilst Grezar looks like one of the first ever proper central midfielders. Honestly, it's not easy to make a formation from those sources because not all positions in the field respect the natural positions of these players. I'd like someone else's opinion too, maybe from Doni who seems to know a lot about old Italian football.
