Guess if Inter doesn't win the match today, then we can expect that they'll complain at UEFA and demand another match.. Like they did in 1971 and the rematch happened on 1st December. I tell you though, the Inter seen in this Champions League has no chance against Gladbach. This Inter would lose today and an eventual rematch as well. I think the opposite tbh, I consider the current Gladbach side stronger as well but I somehow doubt that they can handle the pressure. Still it would be great to see this true giant of European football in the CL knockout stage for the first time. And before anyone asks later this evening why Bayern played without Neuer, Goretzka and Lewy and has lost against Athletico: We're already qualified as top of the group, played probably more matches than every other CL team this year and face Leipzig (currently 2nd place in BL) this weekend. So don't expect any miracles from that Bayern team and it also won't be a big archievement for Athletico if they beat us.

Shakhtar did it again. Things look even worse for us now.

Nevermind: Imagine that such a goal is ruled off by VAR because Embolo was apparently in Handanovic's sight. I really wonder how many Yuan Inter's board payed off to secure a win for their team. But it's no surprise, Inter cheated in 1971 against BMG and now they got the ref again in their pocket.

Don't worry, Borussia and Real might still draw and we'd be out regardless if we beat Shakhtar or not. And that would be rightful because, as I said earlier, we've been crap in this Champions League (more than last year).

The right epilogue to an awful Champions League. Shakhtar Donetsk would've deserved more than Real Madrid but whatever.

What's hilarious is that they end up being group leader at the end of the final fixture unlike some Independent team

https://twitter.com/FIFAcom/status/1337 ... 03/photo/1My prediction: Ronaldo wins it ahead of Messi. I don't understand why fans are allowed to take part in such a voting. Those "fans" and even NT captains/coaches from those third world countries always vote for those two, one reason why the UEFA Best Player Award is IMO the most important price for a player to win.

I still think Lewa will win, nobody can deny his impact this year, even with the fan vote I hope everyone will be sensible. Still I think the nominees should be Lewa, KDB and then Neuer or Müller, they were the best and most consistent players this year.

Still I think the nominees should be Lewa, KDB and then Neuer or Müller, they were the best and most consistent players this year. Of course Lewy is the only one who deserves it to win that year but let's face it: Iniesta would have deserved it in 2012, Ribéry in 2013, Neuer in 2014 and even van Dijk could have claimed it last year. As I already said: The problem is that the votes from players, fans and coaches from countries without any relevance to world football count the same as the ones from Europe and the American continents. Ronaldo and Messi are way too popular there (I doubt that many of those people even know Müller and KdB) and therefore will always get lots of votes from there. This is the reason why both of them are in the Top 3 (despite not deserving it) and that's also the reason why they'll end up ahead of Lewy.

Fat Ronaldo, CR7, Cafu and Xavi but no Müller/van Basten, Cruyff, Thuram/Lahm and di Stefano. Especially Cafu's vote is hilarious, I could name at least 15 European RBs that were far better than him (I'm not the biggest expert for South American football but I'd also rank Zanetti higher for example). At least the best ever GK in the history of the game got his well deserved recognition.
