Attack/Defence Awareness Card: BalancedINFO:Fuad Amin was a Saudi footballer best known for scoring two of the most famous goals in their history: the first Saudi goal ever at the World Cup to take the lead over the Netherlands, and a long range winner against Morocco in their next group game. He was also famously stomped on by Zidane at the 1998 World Cup, leading to a red card for the Frenchman. He was a strange player whose performance would fluctuate wildly over the course of a match; sometimes he would beat players with the ball at his feet, play nice passes and fight to win the ball back constantly but then he'd go through a 5 minute period where he looked like an amateur, just jogging around the pitch and misplacing every pass. His position was also hard to determine, he was very often the deepest midfielder, picking the ball up off his defenders and carrying it forward but then he often drifted out to the right wing, almost acting like an SMF. He was pretty good in the air and a reliable penalty taker for his club, leading to him having a decent scoring record. He liked getting forward but was sometimes slow to get back, although that seemed more due to a lack of awareness more than a lack of stamina. Despite his flaws he mostly held his own against some excellent midfielders and his goalscoring exploits ensure he will always be an important figure in Saudi footballing history.
