Bergmark and Andrade in top 10 ahead of Zanetti and Bergomi

At least you don't take this list that serious.

Yeah, of course the order the players are in is pretty stupid (Dan Petrescu 10 places ahead of Tassotti? ), and some of these guys were hardly right backs at all (Sensini and Ancheta are particularly strange choices to me). Also these lists were made 10 years ago, somebody like Lahm could easily fit in the top 10 there, same with Neuer in the goalkeeper list. These posts were mainly to draw attention to some notable players that don't have sets plus other players that people might not have heard of (I hadn't heard of Busk, Tarp, Jensen, Van Binst and Ogonkov for example), and if anything, it's a pretty fun topic to debate imo ;) There's still 9 other lists, so unless anyone doesn't want me to, I'll put the others up too.

Bob fucking Crompton ahead of José Nasazzi and right behind Lilian Thuram!

I'll admit that this really gave me some needed laughs

Go on, do it, you certainly have free time to look around the forum to link the players

Do they know that "terzini" in Metodo were actually central defenders and not right/left backs ?

I'd like to think that they used the old term "fullbacks"

There’s basically no consistency in how it’s applied, but it seems that everyone who didn’t play in the middle of a 3 man defence back then is put in the right or left-back list. Seems like he just made up the criteria as he went along to be honest.
