Stuart Pearce is Nottingham Forest legendary captain and regular English international. He was famous for his "never say die" attitude on the pitch an his rocket shot. He occupied the left back position throughout his career and is one of the best left backs in England history. He was noted both in attack and defense, providing useful crosses for his teammates and also threatening the opposition goalkeepers with long range shots. Regarding defense, his biggest asset was his timed tackles and good positioning. He was strong and tireless player. He wasn't too fast for a full back, but he compensated that with good team play. He very often used his outside of the boot for both passing and shooting. He wasn't that good in controlling the ball, but he had pretty accurate long passes. He played for England in 78 games, representing them at one World Cup and one EURO. In both competitions, England was eliminated in semi-finals after penalty shootout by Germany.
