I really find it hard to justify someone like Montero being on orange Mentality when he regularly just decided to get himself sent off for no reason. I guess the problem is how to rate players like that, who consistently show very high Mentality but have moments of madness, there has to be some sort of consistency though (Norman Hunter and Juanito are both below yellow for example, while Materazzi is on 89, Ron Harris is on 93 etc.).

The very same could be told about Sergio Ramos too.
Anyway, did he actually played as RB? I onky saw him on the keft (as CB or LB).

Quote: the problem is how to rate players like that, who consistently show very high Mentality but have moments of madness It's simple, that kind of players don't need high mentality. In Montero's case, the 80 Konami gives him is enough. Konami rated Pepe 67 in MEN for example.

Well my issue is that having a MEN of 80 just makes him an ordinary player in that regard, lots of players have MEN of something like that (Ryan Giggs has 82 for example, and he was pretty much the least controversial player of all time, I don't remember him having any incidents at all). Montero should have either very low MEN (like, below 70) to represent his complete stupidity, or high MEN to represent his combative, dogged playing style. Giving him something like 80 for Mentality represents neither of those things.

At this point we haven't be able to figure out what really MEN does, Konami just threw up some simply and random explanation about what it's. that at some point can mislead people, since when you start to look at their ladders across all the old gen games, you'll notice that some values in some players doesn't make any sense when you compare their explanation with the values.
MEN hasn't nothing to do with been a retard playing football in PES, there isn't any way to emulate that in game, so you are wasting your time with it.
Btw i don't know what Konami was trying to do with Pepe having 67/68.

Nope, 80 is already a good value, just look how Konami often rated MEN starting from PES 5: Just as an example: https://www.pesmaster.com/pes-5/search/ ... order=descThere are 4855 players on PES 5 according to PES MASTER, where 1061 has MEN from 75 to 99 (less than 25% of the database if my math is correct), so no, 80 isn't a ordinary value. And from PES 2011, there are 8436 players on database, where 1570 have only MEN from 75 to 99: https://www.pesmaster.com/pes-2011/sear ... order=descThat's probably around 12-18 % of the database.

In my opinion he's a bit overrated in general. Balance 89 should be ok and it's maybe even high. Probably 89 in defence and 87-88 in balance would be more appropriate. Jumping might be decreased by 1-2 points, technique should be green and mentality as El Capo suggested.

I'd favor here a swap between DEF and BB. Also i'm questioning this: Charrúan wrote: Name: Paolo Rónald Montero Iglesias Country: Uruguay Club: Juventus F.C. Position: *CB, SB Side: LF/BS

I would give him DEF 89, 87 BAL, MEN 79-80 (and that's even too much in my opinion), DA 75 and TEC 76. He scored 1 goal with Juventus so why does he have such high values for SA and FK? I would give him 60 in both.
