I wouldn't play with that suicidal formation, unless in my defense is Puyol, Ayala & Maldini as defenders with Makélélé as anchor man.

3-3-4 with two AMFs and four strikers? With all respect but those AS teams should have realistic formations..

I know. In fact, initially I wanted to put Jonsson as CMF. Would it be better?

What would be the difference? You'd still have only three defenders + one DMF. There should be another defender or at least another DM instead of one striker.
Same goes for all of your other teams with similar formations btw..

Ok, I'll change the formations of this team and the others. Thanks for the help!

IMHO all stars teams should be not only realistic but better if using a formation who have been important for the club, for example: Inter should have Herrera's Catenaccio, Milan Sacchi's 4-4-2 or Ancelotti's 4-3-1-2, Juventus Trapattoni's Zona Mista, Barcellona 3-4-3, etc. So I think Mantova should play with Catenaccio like Fabbri did and adapt the best players in the team in this formation. I know there are some crazy and too much offensive formations in other club/national teams, I did the same in Pro Vercelli but in their golden years they played Metodo so I used this formation.

What about Schnellinger?

Yeah, you're right! He's been important so I should have added him.
However he only played one season on loan so I think adding him in reserves is enough.

Then Real should have 12 players in the first 11, as they always have :-D

So Chelsea should have Di Matteo's 9-0-1 formation? :D

Mourinho's 4-3-3/4-5-1

I have to say I disagree with the formation representing the team’s history, it should just try and fit the best and most important players in (within reason of course). For example, England would have the 1966 formation without any wingers, when Matthews and Finney are basically undroppable from the first XI imo. And formations like the Metodo would just be impossible to play today and in game unless you want to lose 10-0

Ask Real 2015-2018 when they're in form, only Varane defended.

Why? Actually Guardiola more or less always play a modern version of Metodo.
I don't agree the 1966 formation without wingers was a unicum in their history, it's not their classical formation, they should have 4-4-2 or Sistema.
By the way we are off topic
