I'm sorry, you're all right, my bad! I got tricked by his post-Grêmio career even though it has nothing to do with the years he spent with the Brazilian team.
By the way, I have now put Arce as penalty taker but I'm not sure about it. Is he alright or you'd put someone else instead of him?

Since Dinho was the main PK taker in the team of 1995, make more sense put him in the role.

As the captain I would choose De León in first place. Great leader, represent very well the Grêmio spirit, more similar to uruguayan and argentinian teams.

I´m also not sure about Elton in starting eleven. There are other players that deserve more to be there, like Gessy or Milton Kuelle.

Thanks for the suggestions! However some of the players you suggested to add didn't play many matches and were just like those you suggested to remove.
So I decided to add only some of them but I removed all those you name except Leôncio Vieira who played fourteen seasons and capped for Brazil.

I'd like to ask you brazilian users, do you think that Geromel can win a place among the first team. I don't have seen a defender from that caliber in south america in a long long time and even more been part of a libertadores champion team. He has been in god mode for at least 3 years or so?.

yes, I like colorado I admit, geromel must enter there in the place of the ortunho, and in the tactical scheme, it should be changed a few things, tarciso did not play as SS, he was just WF or CF, so can put him on the left tip (LWF), even if he played on the right, as the right tip (RWF) , in the middle elton must exit to enter the milton KUELLE (CMF).

Milton Kuelle is already in the tactical scheme. Should I change then only Ortunho with Geromel and give Tarciso LWF position and Renato RWF?

remember, Milton is CMF, not DMF.

Although I´m not interested in AS teams mostly because I don´t use them, I have some things to say concerning this team, since I´m gremista myself.

I agree with Geromel in first team. The right center backs should be him and Aírton Pavilhão. The left center backs should be de León and Adílson so we have all captains of the three Libertadores in first squad.
Arce as right back is ok. A reserve is missing here by the way.
In the left back position i would consider Ortunho as a starter. I know many consider Everaldo for his achievements with the NT but the fact is that in Grêmio he never won many titles or was part of a great team, in fact he played during the time of Internacional´s reign. Ortunho won many titles in the 60s and was considered a better player by a majority of famous Grêmio fans who elected him the best left back in our history in a article made in the 90s. So I guess it should be him in the starting eleven while Everaldo should be the first option.

So what I suggest is simply removing Ancheta(no reason to be here, he was overshadowed by Figueroa´s era) and Luís Luz and add Adílson and Ortunho.
