INFO

Ludwig Janda was versatile player who played as inside left but also deep-lying centre forward and sometimes even as wing half and winger. Not too fast but with excellent positioning in the box, great technique and heading abilities, could provide passes for his teammates and sacrified for the team success, he was good scorer as well. He had strong shot, two-footed and good penalty taker. Janda played from 1936 to 1938 for SpVgg Fürth in Bavaria Gauliga, from 1938 to 1943 and again from 1945 to 1860 Munich, and in the meantime for the Air Force Sports Club in Hamburg and the Air Force Sports Club Kaufbeuren. With the Munich he was 1942 German Cup winner (at the time known as Tschammer Cup), with the Hamburg Army team he reached in 1943 again the cup final and 1944 final of the German Cup, but went both times as a loser from the square. After the war, Janda scored 41 goals in 116 league games for the Lions, with whom he from 1945 to October 1949 in the Oberliga Süd places nine, four, two, and four more finished. His brothers Albert and Charles played in this time for 1860, but with far less success. In the 1947/48 season, with the lion Janda qualified as runners-up of the Oberliga Süd for the final round of the German Cup. But here was the quarter-final stage (1:5 against 1.FC Kaiserslautern in Worms). End of 1949 joined Louis Janda for a transfer of (depending on the source) 30,000 or even 50,000 German Mark as the first German football player to Italy, where he was a well-paid contract signed for Fiorentina - reportedly he should then earned 80,000 lire a month and have this as a win bonus get more money than he had in a month as a contract player in Germany are allowed to take (which were 320 DM). From 1951 to 1954, the striker played for AC Novara. Despite his talent, he was never appointed to the German national football team: the war was only prevented an international game career, he later due to the continuation of his career abroad no chance with Sepp Herberger. After ending his playing career, he returned to Germany, graduated from the teacher training and coached football until the early 1960s Viktoria Aschaffenburg (1954-1956 and 1961-October 1962), the Karlsruhe (1956-1959), the FSV Frankfurt (1959-1961) DJK and Aschaffenburg (1963/64).

? This just shows that he was Inside-right during that match, Mühle and Lotz played on the wings..
Some quotes from one of my books:
Quote:

=> Penalties should be added, SP should be raised a bit and tbh I'd also suggest to raise STA/MEN a bit, 80 seems a bit too low considering his playing-style. But in general this is already a very good set..
