INFO:

Preben Elkjaer Larsen was a hard-running forward of exceptional skill and flair. Although his potential was obvious from an early age, a move to Cologne at just 19 years old proved too soon as he was unable to adapt to the discipline of playing for a major German side. There is an anecdote that tells of how, when quizzed by coach Hennes Weisweiler if it was true Elkjaer had spent the evening in a nightclub with a bottle of whisky and a lady, Ekljaer replied ”no, it was a bottle of vodka and TWO ladies”. He left the club after just 9 league appearances.

Ekljaer was to find greater success in Belgium with Lokeren and it was this, coupled with an impressive performance with the so-called Danish Dynamites at Euro 1984, that secured his move to Italian football with Hellas Verona. What followed is one of the most remarkable achievements of the last 30 years in major club football as Elkjaer, in his first season, led Verona to their one and only Scudetto in 1984-85. They saw off the challenges of the Milan and Turin giants, losing just twice all season, with Elkjaer memorably scoring againt Juventus with a run from the halfway line, losing his shoe in the process. He was at the peak of his powers and was voted Europe’s 3rd finest player in 1984, behind Michel Platini and Jean Tigana, and following it up in 1985 by missing out only to Platini (again) in the Ballon D’or voting (the award is courtesy of France Football magazine).

Elkjaer’s finest hour on the International stage was to come at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. FIFA voted him the 2nd best outfield player in that World Cup behind Diego Maradona. A brilliant hat-trick against Uruguay lit up the tournament but the Danes were to implode against Spain 5-1 in the knockout stages and Elkjaer was to finish his international career without a trophy. Indeed, it is a bizarre footnote that Denmark won Euro 92 without their golden generation of Elkjaer, Simonsen, Arnesen, Laudrup, Olsen & Molby.

Balance looks to high (maybe 86) and acc a bit low, he could surpass his opponents very easy (I propose 91).
Tech at least 86 very soft first touch and DA maybe could go ap to 89, very succesful dribbler.

He was described as a very agile player so 80 seems to underrated. In this video he makes very good dribblings which seem to me more about quickness than accuracy, so maybe 89 as Artemds suggest is too much but 85-86 should be ok and he could have also Turning Skills as card. However I agree with him about BAL to be decreased a bit. His shot power was compared to Gigi Riva. I don't know how much Riva has since I can't see his stats but since I would give Riva at least orange value, Larsen might have 89 at least. He was also a player who loved the nightlife so could this affect a bit either his MEN or COND?

I'm unfortunately not the big expert on him but since there's a lot of footage available, I would mainly rely on that and not on descriptions ;)

Anyway, judging only from your video and this video here, I don't see any shot worth orange except for the one at 2:41:

IMO most of his goals were a combination of good placement, chips over the GK and headers, not of incredible force. He scored some goals from distance but IMO 87 is already good enough to represent that. On the other hand his technical abilities are underrated here, he could claim a boost there.
But as I already said above, if you want to make an overhaul on him, then there's certainly enough footage available to get a detailed impression of his playing-style ;)

I watched some matches and I confirm that he deserves a slight decrease in BAL and MEN, like 84 for both, and a slight increase in AGI like 83. I agree with gurkenjoe93 about his technical attributes. I would give him DA 88-89 and TEC 86-87 because when the ball was on his feet it was just superb especially inside the area. I also think that SPA should be higher than LPA, so I would give him 79 for SPA and 76 for LPA. In this set he's right footed but I saw so many shots and goals with the left foot so maybe WFA could be even on 8. I confirm the addition of the Turning Skills card. I also saw him making long throws in a match with Hellas Verona but it was probably occasional.
