The best club team ever, with no doubt. This team surely would have destroyed the current RM team with ease

If it should cover a so long era, Didi despite being a "big name" could be dropped, his contribution to that team's success wasn't significant, he was there only one season and wasn't even a starter at the end.

Do you have any knowledge about the stats of missing players?

Ajax early 70's can claim that too. At least that Ajax team is chosen as best club team in history (this Madrid team was 2nd)

I know all of them but basic things... Although some players yes, I have idea for stats of Lesmes, Marquitos and Muñoz most of them... Maybe Antonio Ruíz too.

Santisteban was what we could now call a defensive midfielder.
Btw for me this 55-60 team shouldn't be merged in one thread but rather be posted in season by season team as there were many players and even some role players were important.

Could be, but I prefer this thing because lot of these player didn't play too much... (even, some of them in various years only played 20 matches at least) and I think if we separate this topic in year by year team... Could be kinda hard, anyway if people want, I haven't problem in make new threads and these separating the seasons... Or make a thread with season by season and leave this one as "All star of that era"

Wouldn't it be easier if you simply add the squads for the season in a spoiler in first post here?
I did the same with JeanMarc's East Germany era team:
viewtopic.php?f=52&t=4710
Would look IMO better than having 8 threads with lineups with only a few differences..

What about some missing players like Atienza, Joseito or Marsal? Any useful infos concerning them?
Btw, the keeper is known as Javier Berasaluce (Marquiegui).

You could create separate Real Madrid "1955-1960", winner of 5 consecutive Champhions League?
