INFO:Legendary Mexican forward nicknamed “Chava Reyes”, best known for his long career with Guadalajara (Chivas), where he became one of the greatest goalscorers in club history. Although not physically dominant or exceptionally fast, Reyes excelled through intelligent movement, anticipation, technical skill, and clinical finishing. He is regarded as one of the greatest icons in the history of C.D. Guadalajara and was a pivotal figure during their famous "Campeonísimo" era, where the club dominated Mexican football, winning seven league titles between 1957 and 1965. Reyes scored 122 league goals for Chivas and sits as their second highest all-time top scorer across all competitions. A lethal finisher with superb attacking instincts and heading ability, he also represented the Mexican national team in three consecutive FIFA World Cups (1958, 1962, and 1966). In 2008, at the age of 71, he was honored by Chivas with a symbolic start in a league match, making him the oldest player to ever appear in Mexico's top flight.
