He played in midfield and sometimes tended to the left wing. He played in South America, Europe, Japan and Canada. He was part of his country’s U-16 team in two South American championships and the World Championship in China. Hugo did not have a good career like his brother, as Diego's genius overshadowed his career. That's not to say he was bad as a footballer, he had some good skills, he was different from Diego, dribbling was not his first choice because he was a technical player and preferred short passes instead of dribbling opponents. He was sending some good long passes forward, and was also good at taking some set pieces. He used his right foot and was not left-handed like his older brother. VIDEOS: Spoiler: show |

Wouldn't those stats be a bit high for a Japanese second division player? |

Well, maybe he wasn't at the level of Europe like Diego, but he had some skills and some good passes when he was playing in Japan and South America despite his short career. I can lower the passes a little bit |

This was compared to the stats period 92-96 when he played for second division teams, but it's correct. |
