Hassan Mudhafar is considered one of the most prominent Omani football players. He was renowned as a solid defender with good pace off the mark and a distinctive, technically refined playing style in the full-back position. His football career spanned several local and Gulf clubs, most notably Al Wahda of the United Arab Emirates and Al Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia, in addition to an extensive international career with the Omani senior national team. Mudhafar took part in major tournaments such as the AFC Asian Cup and he was one of the stars of the Gulf Cup tournaments in which he participated, especially 19 edition of the Gulf Cup, which he won with his national team. Hassan Mudhafar was a model of discipline and dedication, earning him widespread respect and appreciation within the Omani and Gulf sporting communities.
