INFO:Khalifa Ayil is considered one of the most prominent defenders in the history of Oman football, distinguished by his physical strength, excellent reading of the game, and calmness in building attacks from the back. He formed a duo with Mohammed Al-Nooby in the defense line. He began his career locally before embarking on successful professional experiences in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, with his most notable spell being with Al Sadd of Qatar. He represented the Oman national team for many years and participated in major tournaments such as the AFC Asian Cup, the Gulf Cup, and FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He achieved numerous titles with clubs, most notably the Qatari League, and was crowned with the Oman national team as Gulf Cup champion in 2009. Khalifa Ayil is remembered as a complete defender who combined defensive solidity, discipline, and international experience, and he was also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder when needed.
