From 1992-93 to 1997-98 Italy took in final of Champions League 3 times Milan and 3 times Juventus, such a great Era for Italian football.. Unfortunately only 2 finals were won..
Why the hell Lippi had put Boksic and Vieri in the starting XI in 96-97, with Del Piero in the bench? And he even scored a fantastic goal when he went on the field..
And in 97-98 Juventus with the best Del Piero ever lost only because a goal by Mijatovic (in outside, but today we're only talking about a goal in outside against Torino in the 6th game of the season  )

My worst moment of Juventus fan.. was obviously in Manchester 2003

In 1998 I had Kluivert Milan t-shirt  yes, it's a shame..

Now in place of Matri I'd happy to have Kluivert or Andreas Andersson too :x

Kluivert was an excellent player. One of the most complete strikers we ever had in Holland and the best striker since van Basten. He never showed his potential on a constant base due to injury's and his mentally. He failed in Italy yes but so did more great Dutch players (Bergkamp at Inter). In Barcelona he was world-class at that time.

What a deserved win for Bayern today :)
I mean, a win against a normal team is already great but a win against a mercenary team like City is even better :D
Btw, who needs a Messi or a Ronaldo if you have Robbery & Müller? ;)

It's always a triumph for football when mercenary teams lose :D
Only Guardiola can impede to Bayern to repeat the wonderful last season.

I have an option file with ~100 classic era teams. Stats are mostly from this forum.

It includes national and club teams for instance: Brazil 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994 and 2002. France 1958, 1986, 1998 and 2006. Etc

I like this generation from Belgium... They play very well, and with much improvement

Who cares about Belgium? :D Finally Bosnia has qualified for an international tournament :)
Btw, I'm not sure what to say about the game of German NT today. Such fantastic offensive moments but also so many mistakes in defence..

Another victory of Bayern today and another broken record :D
After this match Bayern also holds the Bundesliga record for the most games in a row without a defeat, a record that previously was held by Hamburger SV and seemed to be unbreakable. But hey, not for this Bayern team :)

Bayern is by far the best team in the world, only Guardiola madness could impede them to win every trophy.
