Joel Bats should be listed as first goalkeeper here, he was better than Barthez. Also Platini should be the corner taker, as Zidane didn't even take corners while he was in his prime (I guess we all remember his goals in the WC final 1998) ;)

Bats, never was better than Barthez, not after..

Removed Zidane from the corner takers, and Platini didn't take one (at least on official competitions, he didn't took them so often), mainly Giresse took the corners during Platini's tenure on Les Bleus, so i'll go with Koppita as corner taker..

Updated honours, also added Hugo Lloris to the reserves ;)
Probably Ribéry should also be in reserves, IMO he would deserve a spot there..

Well, as France won it's second WC, it's probably just "fair" to add at least some of their better players here..
Suggestions:
Lloris <=> Bats
Reason: Lloris played an excellent WC (also a good EC), is the French record GK and won the WC with them. Although Bats was IMO far better than Barthez but after all he a) only had a quite short career in the NT and b) was never as consistent as he was on club level.
To the reserves: Varane, Griezmann, Pogba, Kanté and Matuidi. I don't see Mbappé in this team yet although I'm quite sure that he will deserve a spot in the future as well..

From what I’ve heard from French fans, Lloris has always been quite mistake prone for them, personally I’d keep Bats but of course Lloris has a great claim (he was Captain too, which helps his case).

I think Griezmann has a case for first team, Golden Boot winner when they got to the Euro final and a key player again in a World Cup win. I think he’s done more than Piantoni, who only played in one World Cup, of course for a legendary team, but it’s not quite the same as being a World Cup winner. Agreed with the others being added to reserves...

Nothing to be added.

I'm positive to have Lloris and Griezmann

Completely agree.
Yes, LLoris make some "easy mistakes".

I'm not sure Lloris is better than Bats or Barthez. IMHO he is just an average GK.
