Yes, but he didn't have much influence on the national team beyond the match against Great Britain. He is one of the best Luxembourgish players in history at club level. Furthermore, he left the national team on bad terms after a match against France B in 1958, where he was injured, and wasn't called up again until 1964 against Yugoslavia, when he was considerably older. He only played two World Cup qualifying matches and one Olympic match against Brazil B in 1952; the others were friends.
