Not sure already Bale deserves to stay in first team, I don't know who remove from first team, Leighton James had good performances in NT too.
Before updating this thread I'd like too see some other opinions.

I'm with gurkenjoe, but I prefer wait. Bale is "young" yet, and I'd like to see how he improves in NT. I mean, Bale could be in first team, yes, but I prefer wait before do anything... Played "only" 45 matches and 14 goals

I'd rather see if Bale lead Wales to next European Cup in 2016 as the main star... if he make that, there is no doubt that he deserve to be in the 1st team

Done it, let's keep waiting if some other players could be added to reserves like Wayne Hennessey, Ashley Williams and Joe Ledley just to give and example...

I think Gareth Bale could claim a place in the first team here. He's surely one of the best players to ever come from Wales and could IMO replace Leighton JAMES (who surely was a very good winger but Bale is IMO better)..

Opinions? gurkenjoe, do you still supporting this statement?

Added Williams and Ledley to reserves and Davies out for Bale

The manager should be Jimmy Murphy or Chris Coleman instead of John Toshack, they led the team to their best finish at the World Cup and Euros respectively, and I don’t remember Toshack achieving anything of note, in fact he was pretty unpopular. I also think Aaron Ramsey has a serious claim for first team, he was their best player at Euro 2016, even better than Bale. Since there’s already 3 left wingers in the squad, I think Leighton James could be taken out, since he wasn’t close to as good as Giggs or Cliff Jones. I also think Joe Allen can be in reserves.

EDIT: Chris Gunter to reserves too, he is now the highest capped Welsh player ever.

Bale must be a starter here when he retires from international duty.

EDIT:
Logically over Meredith or Rush, overall a better player than both (if someone saw Meredith actually playing, be my guest) and way more important, but then, i am not longer fan of adding modern players on these "classic teams"...just pointing out some obvious stuff

Post subject:  Re: Wales All Stars

I'm pretty sure there should be a place here for John Mahoney. His 51 game Wales career had a span of 16 years (10 if you count that 46 out of his 51 caps were from 1973 when he became a regular). Wales almost ended up in the Euro 1976 and were generally a tough nut to crack in 70s and early 80s. I believe that he could replace Jimmy Murphy here, as Jimmy was better known for being an assistant manager & scout than footballer...

I also made a set for Maloney if anyone cares to take a look. All suggestions are welcome
