I know I ticked off a bit of a discussion when I suggested it but I'm glad to see it up and running, I only suggested it because I love smaller nations and not because I want to take a side in any political conflicts.

I actually only had one valid player from the Yugoslavian days on my mind, which is Fahrudin Jusufi (With him being born there and being a Gorani, which is a people group commonly found in Kosovo). I know you guys probably left him out of the squad not to piss off anyone and I understand and respect your decision.

I love what you guys are doing on this side and hope you will continue making awesome stuff

The thing about Jusufi is that he grew up in Belgrade and never played football in Kosovo. His family moved when he was a little boy, he was a legend of FK Partizan Belgrade and he lived, died and was buried in Belgrade. To me, his biography and body of work don't suggest that he should belong in Kosovo NT. But you could make the case that because he's ethnically a Gorani, he should be there. However, we don't know how he perceived himself and if that fact was of any importance to him, so IMO the best way is to look at the biography first.

Shouldn’t Xhevat Prekazi be here since he was removed from Albania All Stars?

I wanted to have him in the squad but the only Kosovo related thing about Prekazi is his birth place. He started his career in Serbia, representing Yugoslavia U21 as a Partizan player, and then he played in Turkey.

Both of his parents were Kosovar Albanians. As far as I can tell, there isn’t any difference between Kosovars and Albanians, only geography. They speak Albanian and have a virtually identical culture. So IMO a guy like Prekazi that was born in Kosovo to two Kosovar parents can only be considered to be Kosovar. Also, he joined Partizan at 17, before that he played for the youth team of Trepča in Kosovo.

He has to be from somewhere. And obviously he’s not Serbian or Turkish, he just lived there and didn’t play for their national team. He’s more Kosovar than Valon Berisha for example, who was born in Sweden and started his career in Norway, never living in Kosovo.
