Honestly I find it strange that the generation that got to the 2nd round of the 2006 World Cup and were a handball away from becoming the first African team to reach the semi final in 2010 only has 1 player in the first team here. I think guys like Kingson, Paintsil, Asamoah, Stephen Appiah, Muntari, John Mensah and Gyan could all have strong arguments to be in the first team. I can’t say I’m familiar with most of the older guys currently in the team, but that Ghanaian generation is probably one of the best African teams of all time, and that should be represented here...
