Also Aboutrika should absolutely be in the first team, and Salah should too considering he’s by far the best Egyptian player ever.

Amr Zaki should definitely be the one to make way for him, he wasn't exactly a great player honestly (apart from a couple of months at Wigan where he looked amazing :P )

I'll quote some notes about the occasions Egypt faced Greece from the familiar book (History of Greek NT, A. Bomis).
Yehia EMAM was one of the first post-war aces (=expert) / "vendettas" (=great star). Short stature but with wildcat moves. Racked up 27 international caps (too many considering the era).
El-Sayed EL-DHIZUI is referred, at some point, as a great player of his era.
Hanafy BASTAN, the so-called "black hero", played awesome football, was very fast, possessing an amazing pass as well. He could find his teammate from 40-50 metres.
Ahmed KATO is referred, at some point, as a famous goalkeeper.
PRASCOS-Paraschos Trimeritis, an expatriate goalkeeper, was miraculous at 1952 Egyptian championship, attained later his Egyptian citizenship and became a regular under the sticks at 1954.
He (Prascos) considered Adel HEKAL (written as Abdel Heikal) a worthy successor to him. He wasn't wrong, Adel won best goalkeeper's award at 1960 Olympics (Rome).

Amazing job!
Here are my thoughts:
I think Ahmed Salem can be included in the reserves. He reportedly was one of the key players from that 1928 OG team.
Shehata should be included in reserves too. Despite being mainly remembered as a coach, he also was very highly regarded as a player.
I'm not sure if Ad-Diba is ahead of Abou Greisha. I think it is debatable, but I see Abou Greisha being cited more often in all-time squads.

Thanks! I admit that I added some very old players just for a throwback to the early days. I agree that Hassan SHEHATA can be included in the reserves, possibly instead of Mohamed LATIF.
I wanted Ahmed SALEM in the reserves too but I couldn't find much about him. I'm not sure who he could replace. Ahmed HEGAZY is, in my opinion, the less remarkable of the defenders I selected.

Samir Kammouna, Wael Gomaa, Hani Said, Ibrahim Said are among the best CBs Egypt has ever produced.

Also Mohamed Zidan was top class striker. He should be included in the main 23.
