As soon as possible I'll try to read something about Costarican football and then I'll suggest some updates for this team. |

I'm with Gurkenjoe, some players from 2014 should be there... Ruiz, Navas, Borges and Bolano... Even Keylor Navas is one of the best keepers in story of Costa Rica (I mea, I know him very well, because I saw him since he played in Albacete, and we call him the new Conejo, and right now he is the new Gabelo Conejo or even better...) |

Juan José Gámez should be here, since he managed 45 caps and is considered one of the best Costa Rican defensive midfielders. |

Is someone going to update this squad? No Keylor Navas or/and Bryan Ruiz in the first team. Looks strange... |

Álvaro Murillo Rojas is considered his best ever player and he is not even in reserves. EDIT: Mário Cordero his best ever DF should be in the 23 players. |

Outside of that, in my personal opinion, Bryan Oviedo should be ahead of Leonardo González. Not only Oviedo is arguably the best player, he played for a bunch of years in the Premier League, while González only ever played in Costa Rica and MLS. |

Not only Oviedo is arguably the best player, he played for a bunch of years in the Premier League, while González only ever played in Costa Rica and MLS. Álvaro Murillo is a valid option. I believe he's regarded as one of the greatest striker in the history of Costa Rica and in 1979 he was voted best Costa Rican of all-time after a poll involving fans, journalists, former players and officials, which makes it more believable than a simple ranking made by fans. I would replace Ronald Gómez. Mario Cordero is still today considered one of the best defenders Costa Rica ever produced. Michael Umaña would be the better option for a replacement. Although he capped over 100 times, he seems the less essential of the defenders who currently are in the first team. I agree also regarding Bryan Oviedo instead of Leonardo González. A part of the club stuff that shouldn't matter here, Oviedo capped more than González and was featured in the national team for longer than him. Honestly though, I missed even more Júnior Díaz. He capped even more than Oviedo and was the starting left back during Costa Rica best World Cup campaign in 2014 while Oviedo was his reserve. |
