Can you give me the first post??

If not, here is the link for a lot of those players:

Iván Hurtado viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4395
Carlos Tenorio viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4394
Holger Quiñonez viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4392
Giovanny Espinoza viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4398
Agustín Delgado viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4399
Ítalo Estupiñan viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4400
Neicer Reasco viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4393

The post is very old, so this players is, logically, missing:

Segundo Alejandro Castillo viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4391 (First Team)

OPINIONS:

Polo Carrera was not as important player for Ecuador as he is in here, I beleive his place in the first team is not even accepted, he may be in the Reserves Team.

Ivan Hurtado and Holger Quiñonez are the most common players of the first team, this is because Lecaro played in an era qualifications to the World Cup where only 3 matches. That is why Holger Quiñonez should take his place in the first team, a defender that is historical and is allways named as Bam Bam's partner.

Agustin Delgado is probably the main player in the whole team, it is totally unacceptable for me as an Ecuadorian to not see him in the first team, Spencer should be his partner as a striker.

My formation:

Cevallos; De la Cruz, Hurtado, H. Quiñonez, Capurro; Antonio, Castillo, Aguinaga, J. Bolaños (Méndez); Spencer, A. Delgado.

Agree, Castillo is very poor TEC/DA wise yet, green values in this areas would make him look decent enough..

If you want to put them in Stats practice, go ahead..

I already said it back then but I guess I have to tell it again: Most of the sets by this guy should get a big update. Despite playing in low level leagues (or sitting on the bench in stronger leagues), they have stats that make them look like very good players..
Just take a look at this:
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4393
and compare it to this:
http://www.pesmaster.com/reasco/pes-5/player/1063/
Same for Castillo who looks like a international class defensive midfielder and hell no, he never was that good..
Maybe it would be a good idea to put them in SP again, also those players made by Godoy..

What others sets made by Luanld3 do you think that should get updated? Since you said "most of the sets" means that you are ok with others made by him.

Well Neicer Reasco looks very accurate to me, I saw him winning the Libertadores Cup and yes he was a little tank running by his flank and been supportive for his team.

Post subject:  Re: Ecuador All Stars

Ecuador participated to the World Cup in 2002, 2006 and 2014, having its best result in 2006 by reaching the round of 16. Regarding the Copa América, the team placed 4th in 1993. They had the same result in 1959, although in this occasion there were only five teams competing in the tournament.

My first squad isn't too different from the current one.

Spoiler: show
GOALKEEPERS:
Alfredo BONNARD
José CEVALLOS

DEFENDERS:
Walter AYOVÍ (LB)
Luis CAPURRO (LB)
Ulises DE LA CRUZ (RB)
Giovanny ESPINOZA (CB)
Iván HURTADO (CB)
Hólger QUIÑÓNEZ (CB)
Néicer REASCO (RB/LB although he played as LB in the 2006 World Cup)

MIDFIELDERS:
Álex AGUINAGA (AM/CM)
Jorge BOLAÑOS (AM)
Segundo CASTILLO (DM/CM)
Édison MÉNDEZ (LM/RM/AM)
Christian NOBOA (CM/DM)
Edwin TENORIO (DM/CM)
Antonio VALENCIA (RM/LM)

FORWARDS:
José BALSECA (RW)
Christian BENÍTEZ (CF)
Agustín DELGADO (CF)
Eduardo HURTADO (CF)
Carlos RAFFO (CF)
Alberto SPENCER (CF)
Enner VALENCIA (CF/RW/LW)

* I selected José BALSECA, regarded as the best right winger from Ecuador, to add a different formation option. Although, I believe the line-up should be a 4-4-2 with either two CMF or two SMF. If you think that an RWF here is unnecessary, you could replace BALSECA with a CF or another SMF to have a replacement for MÉNDEZ and VALENCIA in case of a line-up with two SMF.

RESERVES:

GOALKEEPERS:
Alexander DOMÍNGUEZ
Jacinto ESPINOZA
Carlos MORALES

DEFENDERS:
Gabriel ACHILIER (CB/RB)
Frickson ERAZO (CB)
Pervis ESTUPIÑÁN (LB)
Jorge GUAGUA (CB)
Raúl GUERRÓN (LB)
Vicente LECARO (CB)
Raúl NORIEGA (CB)
Juan Carlos PAREDES (RB)
Augusto POROZO (CB)
Byron TENORIO (CB)

* I also took into consideration Paúl AMBROSI, Luciano MACÍAS and Flavio PERLAZA.

MIDFIELDERS:
Enrique ÁLVAREZ (AM)
Marlon AYOVÍ (CM/DM)
Héctor CARABALÍ (DM)
Nixon CARCELÉN (CM)
Cléber CHALÁ (LM)
Hamilton CUVI (AM)
Kléber FAJARDO (DM)
Alfonso OBREGÓN (DM)
Wellington SÁNCHEZ (LM/RM/AM)
José VILLAFUERTE (AM)

* Carlos GRUEZO and Luis SARITAMA are, in my opinion, two valid options in case you want to add one more midfielder, likely an SMF, to the first squad.

FORWARDS:
Raúl AVILÉS
Felipe CAICEDO
Polo CARRERA
Italo ESTUPIÑÁN
Ángel FERNÁNDEZ
Ariel GRAZIANI
Iván KAVIEDES
Félix LASSO
Enrique RAYMONDI
Carlos TENORIO

* of course, if you decide to have six forwards in the first squad, remove whoever you want from the reserves.

I think Pervis ESTUPIÑÁN can be the last defender on reserves. He is still very young, but already accomplished more than most Ecuadorian players in international play. Was chosen as the best LB in Copa America 2021 and already made at least two very good seasons with Sevilla, being champion of Europa League in 2021, and semi-finalist of Champions League in 2022.

I agree with you. I think he can already be in the reserves. Let's see if in a few years he can even be a potential choice for the first squad.
The same may happen with Piero Hincapié and Gonzalo Plata who are even younger than Estupiñán and already have a decent number or caps.

What should be clear after last WC: Best XI needs both Valencias, not just Antonio. Enner has carried his NT in a way that even his namesake didn't do and can easily replace Delgado. Gruezo and Angel Mena should be in reserves and tbh I don't see a reason why Hincapie couldn't replace Porozo in reserves..

More than valid reasons. So, Hincapie for Porozo, and Gruezo and Mena for who?

What about Moises Caicedo in reserves?

I'm not sure. It might seem too early, but it's true that he accomplished quite a lot with Ecuador despite his young age. Who would you replace?
