Rincón can be the CM to open space for Redín, who is highly praised in Colombia.
Redín can be a valid choice. However, he formed possibly the greatest midfield in the history of Deportivo Cali alongside Carlos Valderrama in the late 1980s. It's Colombia national team that we're talking about here. Although he was part of the Colombia squad that ended 3rd in the 1987 Copa América and was featured in the 1990 World Cup, his stint as national team player wasn't very long. Abel Aguilar and Gabriel Gómez, whoever we decide to keep, both played an important role for much longer.
