Hmmm, could confirm that Carlitos played as CF? The last time that i checked he was a left WF serial scorer.

What about Carlitos on the left side, Tesourinha on the right one and Valdomiro as second striker?
However that would lead to a line-up team with no centre forward.

I'm not a big expert on Brazilian football but wouldn't Bodinho be the most logical choice as CF (with Tesourinha and Carlitos as wingers) here?

It is but Valdomiro is probably the player with most caps in the history of the team.
He scored less than Carlitos and Tesourinha but he played over 800 games.

I would actually change the current formation with a "4-2-4" with Falcão as DMF with D'Alessandro as a deep deployed AMF (Iniesta-Like), Tesourinha and Carlitos as wingers, Valdomiro as SS with Bodinho as CF.

Quite offensive though

Offensive indeed but it's the best solution.

Anyway they have Mauro and Elías as CB, they got a decente cover in the back lol.

Does this team really need D'Alessandro in best XI? If you want to play 4-2-4 it would IMO make more sense to add Batista (as DMF) or Carpegiani (as CMF) since both of them would be better partners to Falcao in such a formation.
Btw, any ideas for a set of Bodinho? There seems to be stuff available for him online but unfortunately I don't speak a single word in Portuguese..

I switch D'Alessandro with Carpegiani and make Falcão CMF too.
Bodinho was CF but he could play also as RWF and sometimes RMF.
He was 175cm and 64 kg therefore he was probably quick and fast.
He was very strong with the head despite he wasn't tall. His nickname comes indeed from this.
Maybe he had good elevation since he was a problem for the opponent goalkeepers.
During the period in Internacional he scored 244 goals in 312 games plus 3 in 5 games for Brazil.
He seemed to be a very prolific finisher!

I can read/interpret Portuguese language (not so difficult for people who speaks the Latin-based languages like Spanish, Italian), specially if we know how to trick the Google Translator lol.

BTW, i don't think Bodinho could play the RMF position like we know (specially if we look upon the era he played), unless it is implied that he was a sort of "hard-working winger" like Zagallo, positions should be just CF and RWF for the moment.

Yeah, I can too 'cause I'm italian lol
I think "right midfielder" is meant to be the old half winger position.
Therefore only CF and RWF is ok I guess.

You're welcome!
Dunga surely doesn't deserve a place here. He played only when he was young and in the last year of career for a total of around 30 caps.
The other two won a Brasileirão but they didn't play so much therefore I'm not sure about them.
Dario is more appropriate in Atlético Mineiro in my opinion.

Ok I understood, but Mario Serio was a great player of the Brazilian tri-championship in 1979, I think he should be there, as well as alexandre duck and the defender dribbles, important players ... do you speak Portuguese?
