I just wanted to ask gurkenjoe93: which rule of this forum forbids discussing politics? Because I have read the rules and I can't find anything there.

I understand that being disrespectful, arrogant, hateful, a bigot, a racist, a warmonger, a chauvinist etc. should and must be sanctioned, but just plain talking about history and politics?

Well, I honestly don't care about politics. However there are people who easily gets offended and that might lead to heated discussions. Who knows? So, I think not talking politics would just avoid that to happen.

That is your opinion, but it's not a forum rule.

My opinion is that people who offend others and behave disrespectfully should be punished. Also those who are "flaming", that is provoking such discussions because they enjoy fighting on the internet, even more so. But I'm sure we don't have such bigots here, and if we do, they should be sanctioned for such behavior. Also, if the discussion goes too far, it can always be closed. But I have seen many heated discussions here with disrespectful, sometimes even offensive language and they weren't about politics.

I am a new member here and I was wondering if I could have permission to view players like Bobby Charlton and Phil Neal (the links from the England All Stars). Also I tried to PM a moderator and I dont have permission to do that either, some clarification would be much appreciated. Cheers

It's been said over and over again to many users to check this section: viewtopic.php?f=83&t=7392 .
Everyone should at least browse the website to see if there's the answer to the question before spamming it. This happened quite a lot now.
Also, is it possible that you never saw that thread or the link posted in a reply since you're not new?
