Ali Beier should be in first team, he was one of the best defenders HSV ever had. IMO he could replace Fritz Laband who for sure was a good player but never as important as Beier was..
Also Asbjørn Halvorsen is IMO a candidate for first team and could replace either Werner or Giesemann..

For now I'll move Ali instead of Laband. You're right for Halvorsen, but we could wait for his stats before doing that. Btw I've tried few times over the past few years to work on his stats, but there's simply no enough useful info. Unfortunately so, because he was great player and it's a pity we don't have him in database yet.

Heinz Spundflasche has to be in first team here, while Walter Risse, Dieter & Erwin Seeler should be added to the reserves here..

Well good to hear this, I won't spam the threads with your perfect teams anymore in the future..
But anyway, I know you don't care what I write here but I simply have to say it:
Spundflasche could easily replace Caspar Memering or Jürgen Werner as he was a way better footballer than both of them (especially hundred times better than Memering), had better technique, was a better passer, had better vision (probably the best in HSV history) and in contrast to the other two he lost his best football years because of WW2..
Just some quotes about one of the greatest HSV legends:
Quote:

It's funny but I've never read anything like this about Memering (or any text where he is named as one of Hamburg's greatest players)
A reason could be that Memering was just a solid player who had the luck to have team mates like Magath, Keagan and Hrubesch and without them he would have archieved nothing in his career (he would have been a solid Bundesliga player but nothing else). He was lucky to be part of the great Hamburg team in the late 1970's while Spundflasche was clearly the best & most important player at HSV while he was playing there..

Well interesting logic. Then Werner, Noack, Harder, Beier and Halvorsen should all be removed from first team and their stats should be deleted as all of their sets are based on texts (and all of them were amateurs)
Btw, one question then. When somebody asked on the old page to replace Raducanu in Dortmund All Stars you refused to change it. When I asked to replace Varga in Hertha All Stars you refused to do it. The reason for it: they both were the best players in their era and belong to the best players in the club history. Why does this argument not count for Spundflasche?
Another example:
Quote:
I'm shocked to see one of the best players in club history Ludwig Goldbrunner not in the first team..Not even mentioning his loyality to club..

He must replace Udo Horsmann in the first team. Udo doesn't deserve to be in the first team, he was just fortunate to play in the right time with such a legends. Sagnol was 5 times better than him, just he wasn't so lucky to have Beckenbauer and Gerd as teammates..

Where's the difference to the situation here? Replace the name Goldbrunner with Spundflasche and Horsmann with Memering and there's no difference between my request and yours..

Lol, are you serious? In a forum it's normal to have different opinions and it's also normal that people discuss in a forum..
If you really want to leave the forum because I gave some arguments to a specific topic then rather ban me instead of leaving the forum. There are many users who are very thankful for your stats and respect you for your work at the forum (includig me), so please don't leave here..
Charruan left without a reason, Beiderbecke left without a reason, so please change your mind and continue your work here..
This is all I have to tell. If you leave, then I already apologize to all the users and you for driving you out of the forum..

The "Dino" is gone, after 55 years in BL Hamburg is relegated :(
Of course they deserve it (after all they already had luck to survive two relegation playoffs in the last years) but it's also sad that the Bundesliga loses a club with so much history..

Why there is so many players I can't see?

I'm doing some researches about Herbert Wojtkowiak, I was so happy to see he had a page and... Nop, can't see. Why this?
