Just a question: what about Luigi CEVENINI in reserves? Two championships with the club and second best goalscorer in Serie A for Inter. It may be just me but he could deserve a place here

2 Italians league and a shitload of goals (Nyers and Lorenzi) are more valuable than win the treble with 2 goals in the CL final and also being named the UEFA club footballer of the year (Milito) and being also the backbone of the 4 consecutive Serie A (Cambiasso) (again see the irony here.)

It's still noteworthy that the generation that won like 4-5 consecutive Serie A and the only treble in Italian football history, only 1 player is in the squad of 23.

This team needs some urgent changes and I'd like to discuss about them with you guys.

GOALKEEPERS:

Zenga Ok
Julio Cesar or Bordon. I prefer the first one.

DEFENDERS:

Facchetti ok
Burgnich ok
Picchi ok
Bergomi ok
Brehme ok
Guarneri ok
J. Zanetti ok

MIDFIELDERS:

Cambiasso ok
Matthaus ok
Corso ok
Suarez ok
Oriali ok
S. Mazzola ok

FORWARDS:

Altobelli ok
Meazza ok
Skoglund ok
Nyers ok

4 spot to assign:

- For sure we need a box to box midfielder and the best is probably Berti.
- I'd like to have a right wing like Jair.
- An other forward between Ronaldo, Boninsegna and Lorenzi.
- The last spot is hard to assign, tactically we need a stopper (Samuel is the best), but it's hard to exclude the forwards of the previous spot.

The biggest doubt for this team is obviously Ronaldo, probably he had the highest peak in Inter history but cause injuries he kept this performance for only one year. Is it enough to deserve a spot in the team or we have to prefer guys like Boninsegna or Lorenzi for example?

Let me know your opinions.

Ronaldo, despite he was rather the 70% of the attack prowess in that ultra-defensive Inter, he shined for a year, year and half, and i don't think that that is worthy to be named in any big club AS; for me, he's only Brazil AS for me (Where he's the brazilian GOAT striker and could be the starting CF above Romario) + i hear/read that he isn't that respected anymore with the Nerazzurris after he went to the other Milan when they prefered Adriano over him  .

Keep Jair, he fits gurke's starting formation (with wingers).

Samuel, i don't know, only by his long tenure at Inter, maybe yes; though for me he's Roma material  .

Still baffled on how D. Milito or Sneijder aren't still considered here.

Aside from that this squad is ok, it's just to have the most richest eras in Inter decently represented and having the era when they won 5 Serie A and the only Treble in Italian football with only 1 player from that era makes the cut here, it's routinely incoherent to me.

Ronaldo is loved by Inter fans, no matter he went to Milan.

Samuel was great in Inter too.

For the triplete era we could have Julio Cesar, Zanetti, Cambiasso and maybe Samuel, not bad.
Sneijder and Milito have too much great players in their role.

Ok, leave Milito out, but what about Beccalossi, does he really deserves a place here over Sneijder? I know he's fan favourite among the Nerazzurris, but i find him very inconsistent and erratic as a player compared to Sneijder and his contribution was below of what could you expect from Inter (but then, Juventus as always, ruled over Italy so i'm being harsh with that lol), but still i'm bringing that subject on the table.

Beccalossi should be out, he is a fan favourite but there are too much offensive players and all of them were better than him. IMHO Beccalossi and Sneijder should be in reserves.

What about Stanković instead of Beccalossi? He's slightly more complete than Berti + got the titles, but then i guess Berti enjoys the 'fan'-service more than Stanković, isn't?

Beccalossi at least won a Serie A title when there was real competition in the league. If there is one guy from the reserves to take his spot (as AMF/SS backup for Mazzola), it should be Ferrari and not Sneijder..
Btw, I really don't get why winning four Serie A titles in a row is a reason for Cambiasso to be in this squad - following this logic we should also add Padoin in first team of Juventus and Tom Starke to Bayern AS..
Regarding the other things: add Boninsegna instead of Lorenzi (of course Boninsegna was a stupid diver and actor but he was also a goalscoring machine), Samuel/Ferri instead of Allemandi and Cesar instead of Bordon (although Cesar only had two great seasons for Inter while beeing average for most of his years at Inter)..

I don't agree mate. Ferrari is a Juventus guy, he was great in Inter too but already old. Sneijder only one amazing season so he doesn't deserve this spot too.
IMHO Cambiasso for some years has been the best defensive midfielder in the world: great defensive task, very smart player and 7-8 important goals every season. We need a DM and he is the best alongside Oriali.

Stankovic was never important for Inter as Berti.

1) Not the best comment, specially when you support a dominant team

2) You have forgotten that Cambiasso was actually a key player, probably was the best DMF in defensive tasks during his prime (until he was overthrown by Busquets), not some random back-up player, btw, who are Padoin and Starke? Guess they weren't starters anyway with Vidal, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio at Juve (Padoin) and Neuer at Bayern (Starke), so i don't get the comparison here with Cambiasso.

Let Berti here, i somehow guessed Stankovic wasn't that respected like Berti

Since we agreed that Becca should be out, and there are many attacking midfielders, maybe Marini over Beccalossi, Doni?

We don't need Marini. We have Cambiasso, Oriali, Berti and even J. Zanetti, it's enough.

Since he is much more expert than me in 50's football I'd like to see what JeanMarc think about Lorenzi. He is surely an icon and a great forward but better than Bonimba despite they was different type of forwards.
