Atalanta just qualified to UEFA Champions League for the first time ever. I think some players featured in the last seasons would deserve a place in reserves especially if they stay for the following season. Etrit Berisha, Andrea Masiello and Hans Hateboer, Marten de Roon, Remo Freuler, Josip Iličič and I would even say Duván Zapata. I also think that Alejandro Gómez might be moved to the first team but I don't know who he should replace.

Agreed with adding Papu into the first team, he could probably replace Humberto Maschio who only played for Atalanta for a short time, and played a similar position.

This team needs a few changes in my opinion. First of all there are three right backs and not one proper left back. Bertil Nordahl (great as he was) played only around 80 matches and he might be replaced by Gianpaolo Bellini (one-man club with 435 appearances in 18 seasons) or Livio Roncoli (a bit less than 300 appearances in 14 seasons). You may even add both left backs or, if you want to have two centre backs as reserves for the starting ones, Gardoni (over 200 matches in 9 seasons and Coppa Italia winner) could be a good choice. Either way I'd replace Sergio Porrini.
This team also lacks of a proper centre forward since it has only wingers and secondary strikers. If we want to consider the history of the club, then I'd go for Enrico Nova otherwise if we want to consider the amount of goals scored the choice could be either Maurizio Ganz or Germán Denis. I'd replace Flemming Nielsen who didn't play too many matches.
Humberto Maschio may be replaced by Papu Gómez (as StuartBannigan suggested) because Maschio didn't play much and surely had his best seasons at Racing Club while Gómez did enough to deserve a place in the first team. Moreover Gómez should go to the attackers section since he played mostly as left winger or secondary striker with Atalanta.
Last but not least, Ceresoli played a bit more than 100 matches and all in Serie B while Fabrizio Ferron played almost 300 matches and mostly in Serie A.
I know the players I'd replace have been important for the club but we should have all positions properly covered.

Toloi could be added to reserves too. He's playing for them for several years, and he's regular member of the first team, even captain on some occasions.

Robin Gosens needs to be here for sure now, he's certainly more important and IMO also way better than Mirkovic ever was at Atalanta. Mirkovic left the club after just two seasons (including getting relegated in the second) while Gosens has been a crucial member of Atalanta's successful team for the last 3,5 seasons now and is becoming better and better. Such an underrated player, I'll add a set for him in the next days.
