With his highly successful career at Al-Hilal, he's probably one of the greatest Saudi goalkeepers ever. He's known for his excellent reflexes, especially from close range shots. Although he doesn't leave his line often, he uses his long arms to quickly stop shots that already looked out of reach and collect high crosses over everyone's heads. He's also good at making decisive saves at important moments, and occasionally captained Al-Hilal, for example in the Club World Cup final against Real Madrid. On the other hand, he's not too good with long and mid range shots and sometimes what looks like an easy save suddenly turns into a difficult one or even a goal. Despite his height, he sometimes gets "lost" inside his own box when crosses come in, giving the opposition chances to steal an easy goal. He had quite a short and unsuccessful national team career, being dropped after the first game at the 2018 World Cup after conceding 5 goals. Overall, he was a significant player in one of the most successful Saudi club teams of all time.
