Attack MindedINFO:Emilio Izaguirre was a Honduran defender, long time starting left back of the national team. He's most remembered for his 8 years at Celtic. In his first season with Celtic, Izaguirre had fantastic performances that led to him winning all three Player of the Season awards available in Scotland. He had lots of energy going up and down the left side of the pitch, good dribbling and dangerous crosses. He was also good in one-on-one defending because of his speed and tenacity, although because of his attacking nature he was sometimes caught out positionally. Unfortunately he broke his ankle in his second season at Celtic which halted his development, after that he was a reliable player but never the dominant player he was before. In total he won 7 league titles at Celtic, and with Honduras he played at two World Cups, with little team success but showing some strong individual performances.
