Helge Scharff was a former Danish footballer who famous when he played with Boldklubben 93 between 1913 to 1931 with 224 matches and 1 goal. Scharff usually played as left half. He was an indestructible, tough, tenacious player who never gave up - so a typical team player. He was always very serious and always in a good workout, even long after his career had ended. Scharff won the championship in 1916 and 1927. He was involved in 20 seasons in a row. He also very quite player and rarelytackle his opponent. Helge Scharff, civil engineer, his friends called "Skipper" was also a great asset to B.93 off the field. He sat on the board for 19 years (1936/55), of which the last three years as chairman. Scharff was unmarried and devoted his life to B.93. He had a stubborn sense which Kaj Hansen and Arne Sorensen saw as they regretted that they had received money from Skovshoved in the so-called Salamander case. There was no dear mother, they were both reported to DBU, and declared professional. Scharff received DIF's honorary signs (1953), DBU's gold pin (1953) and was an honorary member of B.93 (1957) shortly before his death. He is also described in the separate pages on respectively. Honorary members and presidents. Helge Scharff died at 22 November 1957. He was 63 years.
