INFO:
Migliavacca was a right winger. He raised at Casale, where he began his professional career in 1919. After a season, ended with 7 goals in 19 matches, he transferred to Novara, having great performances and being called up for Italy. At the end of the first season, he wanted to go back to Casale but Novara didn't let him leave. Therefore, he remained inactive until his return to Casale in 1923. He stayed with the Nerostellati for eleven seasons, scoring 44 goals in 239 games. He retired in 1941 after short experiences with Asti and Lanciano. He was called up for Italy 11 caps for Italy, scoring 3 goals, most of them during his inactive period, proving that he was worth being called-up despite not playing for his club.
Undoubtedly one of the greatest players in the history of Casale, Migliavacca had short legs but a strong physique. He was gifted with straight dribbling with which he could dribble two opponents within a short space. He possessed thunderous speed and most importantly a shot with tremendous power. Decent in the air, his heading ability wasn't though one of his best qualities. Reports from the 1920s reveal the winger as a very fast player, confident with the ball on his feet, accurate with dribbling and always ready to make a sudden run to catch a through pass. He played with intelligence, dedication and will but was mostly out of the game when it wasn't focused on the wings. When he ran down the flank, he usually delivered a cross to the box. If he had the ball at the end of a series of passing exchanges, he would likely deliver a short cut back pass from the end-line. Otherwise, he would go for the personal action, dribbling a defender if necessary and beating the goalkeeper even though he apparently wasn't too accurate from favourable positions. On the other hand, he possessed great shot technique that allowed him to make volley passes or with overhead kicks.
