INFOS:

Tom "Pongo" Waring was an excellent Aston Villa striker during late 20's and early 30's. He was a crowd favourite, and till this day he stands as one of the most beloved players in Aston Villa's history. He was a predator in front of the goal, amazingly strong, fast with quick reactions, and great shots and headers. But as much as he was talented, he was equally and perhaps even more undisciplined on and off the pitch. He showed up at training whenever he wanted, he was suspended several times for misbehaving on the pitch (once he jumped into the crowd at Villa Park to confront a fan). He is the player who enjoyed perhaps the greatest ever debut in football history - against fierce rivals Birmingham City he netted a hattrick. In 226 appearances for the Villans, he scored 167 times. His best season was 1930/31 when he scored 50 goals in all competitions, but unfortunately Aston Villa finished second to Arsenal. He played for England in 5 matches scoring 4 goals, mostly because his contemporaries were George Camsell and one of the best English strikers ever Dixie Dean.

Maybe ATT on 89 could be enough.

It may be, since he didn't have a reputation of a worldclass striker. And what's your opinion about DA? In all material that I've read, it says that he was extremelly hard to be knocked off the ball. Of course that it has to be related with his strenght, but also, he obviously had a good ball control. Comparing to the other contemporaries, do you think that 76 is too low?

I don't think that, infact, given his stats combined with his Special Abilities (Positioning + Post Player + BB: 92, he's actually a world class classic center forward holding the ball upfront, so giving him more stats would make him a even bigger beast, something i don't really think he was.

So, i have made my opinion here (just a lower ATT value) it's up to you now

ATT shouldn't be lowered to yellow values, that's way too harsh..
This guy belonged to the best British CFs during that era and he should be rated like that. He wasn't as good as Dean or Camsell (who were the best English CFs in those years) but there shouldn't be six points between them in ATT (91 maybe?).
What should be changed is consistency IMO. He already has 72/67 for STA/MEN, so he surely doesn't need 4 for CON. Pongo didn't belong to the most professional players at that time but he still had a lot of good performances during those years (especially in the 1930/31 season), so 5 would be better here....
