Ernesto Mascheroni (21 November 1907 – 3 July 1984) was a footballer from Uruguay. His position was defender. He played as a left-back. He was born in Montevideo.

He played 12 times for the Uruguay between 1930 and 1939, including in the 1930 FIFA World Cup where Uruguay won the first ever World Cup tournament.

He began his career with Olimpia Montevideo and moved from there in 1930 to Peñarol. He remained there until 1933, in 1934 put a few-week stopover at an Argentine club Independiente, in order to then move to Italy. There he joined AS Ambrosiana, now at Inter Milan. In 1936 he returned to Uruguay to 1940 and was again part of the team Peñarol, that he was a total of 3 times Uruguayan national champion (1932, 1937 and 1938).

The defender was a member of the Celeste, with which he was able to secure the football World Cup 1930 World Cup title at the first edition of this tournament. Together with Pablo Dorado, he was there the youngest player on the team from Uruguay. Overall, he completed 1930-1939 13 caps for the national team Celeste said his country. A scoring it was not granted.

He also came in 1935 in two appearances for the Italian national team to use.
