Legendary French player and one of the greatest players in Racing Club history. Veinante played as inside left and left wing half but also sometimes as outside left. Technically gifted player whose trademark were excellent free kicks and above all directly converted corners. He was good scorer, the brain aned conductor of the team, very intelligent although a bit weak physically. At 21 years old when he accepted an offer of the capital's Racing Club de France and the club then remained loyal for many years. As early as 1929 he was first appointed to the national team, and in 1930 he was the first of his three finals at the French Cup. In 1934 he even made it into the "Top Ten" "scorer caused a stir, especially his free-kicks and, even more spectacular, his corners: in a game against RC Lens succeeded Émile Veinante at the score 0-3 with three straight corner kicks transformed within the last fifteen minutes to avert the threat of home loss. In 1936 he won the "Double" with racing, so French league and cup in the same season. In 1939, he was able, at this stage of his team already managed as a player-coach to win his third final in the Coupe de France one more time. Veinante scored in the 3-1 against Olympique Lillois predetermining the end goal for 2-1. With the German invasion of France ended his playing career at club and country. Between February 1929 and January 1940 denied Émile Veinante 24 caps for the Equipe Tricolore, scoring 14 goals. He also participated in the World Championships in 1930 and 1938. In 1930, he was only in the meaningless final group game against Chile. 1933 and 1934 he was appointed seldom remained so even during the World Cup in Italy only a reserve, but a further four years later he played both French World Cup games and scored in the second round against Belgium in the first minute of the game, the 1-0 for the hosts. After the liberation of the country, he worked at Racing Strasbourg (1945-1947 and 1948/49), where in 1947 at least a third place in the top division and reaching the Cup final. However, he could not avoid relegation in 1949 from Alsace. 1949/50 he led the OGC Nice in 5th place in the following season with FC Metz, where he acquired his footballing tools, from the second into the first division. Then Emile Veinante worked for the then still lower division FC Nantes (1951-1955). In the season 1960/61 he again coached the RC Strasbourg and also brought this back to division 1. He died in 1983.
